DOUBLE XLIn Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico: SeL Commish, and B.G.H.S. Basketball Coach, Robert Zaragoza, attains two wins in so many games to start off his Veracruzana Basketball League Head Coaching debut.
The small univeristy semi pro league has 12 team spread throughout the state of Veracruz. Two divisions seperate the teams and the top 2 of each division after 10 games played advance to the playoffs.
With only a few practices under their belt, Xalapa devoured the Voladores de Papantla in Game 1 on Saturday, 147-50. The following day, The Halcones de Xalapa handled the flyers by 30, in a 83-113 rout.
The Halcones will play Saturdays and Sundays for the next four weeks and hope to make a run at the 1st Liga Vecruzana de Basquet.
